Natalia Chepelova

In 2013, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Optometry from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics at the University of Latvia. In 2015, she received a professional Master’s degree in Clinical Optometry from the same university. In 2014, she worked as an optometrist and contact lens specialist at the optical center Optikas pakalpojumi. From 2014 to 2019, she practiced as an optometrist at Vision Express, where her work included assessing visual functions and ocular health, providing optical vision correction, and consulting on eye and visual health prevention as well as visual ergonomics. Her professional and international training includes participation in the Alcon Vision Correction and Sales Specialist Training Course and in the course “A Look at the Inflammatory Aspect of Ocular Disease” held in New York, USA. She has participated in the scientific-practical conference “Modern Technologies in Cataract and Refractive Surgery” (Moscow, Russia) and the First International Symposium on Visual Perception VisPEP (Riga, Latvia). Since 2015, she has been working at the Eye Microsurgery Center as an optometrist, collaborating with ophthalmic surgeons in refractive diagnostics and specializing in contact lens correction. She is a regular participant in scientific-practical seminars, conferences, and congresses, both in Latvia and abroad. She has been a member of the Latvian Association of Optometrists and Opticians since 2015.
